What's This?

Is LeBron James thinking of returning to South Beach? The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar raised eyebrows this week by spending a few off-days in Miami with former Heat teammate Dwyane Wade.

David Alexander, one of James’ trainers, posted a video of the duo working out in a popular gym in Miami Wednesday. James was even seen putting on dance moves, looking elated as ever.

On Thursday morning, ESPN First Take discussed the possibility of James returning to Miami Heat (Watch Video Above). Earlier today, when James was asked about the perception of him spending time with a potential playoff opponent, the forward simply said, “I don’t care.”

Likely to meet in playoffs…

If the playoffs were to start today, the No. 1 seeded Cavs would face the No. 4 seeded Heat in the conference semifinals if both teams advance out of the first round. Shouldn’t James and Wade be plotting each other’s downfall instead of buddying up?

James dismissed all speculation. “What do I go there (to Miami) for? Go there ‘cause I want to,” said the former four-time league MVP. “I would love to go to L.A., but I’ll take a 2½ (hour flight) over 4½. I’ve got a house in L.A., but it makes more sense for me to go South than go West. But I go because I want to.”

With Cleveland not playing a game until Friday, James justified his decision to leave town for a few days. “That’s cool? I’m OK to leave when I want to leave?” asked James. “Be back at my work (in Cleveland) on time, two hours before? OK. Last one to leave the gym. OK. Thank you. Love you guys.”

Soon after the remarks, LeBron James took to Twitter to write a message that seemed to refer to Wade.
