Who Will Be The Next President? Google Has The Answer For You
If you ask Google “Who will be the next president,” it promptly returns with the answer: Hillary Clinton.
According to Geek.com, the answer is conveyed through a Google answer card, one a user would see when asking Google a question with a factual answer. The mechanism involved on Google’s part is to retrieve the exact information that users want from the page of 10 blue links and display it at the top of the search results.
However, the answer card in this case is derived from a paragraph in The Huffington Post article that gives reasons why Clinton should be the next president. What the answer card reads is: “Hillary Clinton is the next President of the United States. The campaign has begun as the darts are being thrown. It doesn’t matter.”
Although the answer card doesn’t show up anymore, running a slightly different search for “Who will be the next president?” also returns with the same answer; this time, though, the results return with Glenn Beck as the source.
