Apple has been trying hard to make its ‘hobby’ project work. No matter how many improvements were made, this TV never made it to the list of ‘most wanted’ gadgets. Apple has still not given up and it looks like this time, the brand has been successful in cracking the code.
Apple TV definitely is coming to the market with some interesting features like voice control with Siri, a fancy remote control and interface overhaul. Is this what Apple TV is in the news for? 30% yes, 70% no. The new version of this set top box will now be flooded with third-party apps. App developers are already excited about the news and will start working on the project as soon as Apple TV’s own version of the App Store gets launched.
Regarding the development, Matt Hall, developer of the game “Crossy Road,” said, “I’ve been waiting for this for a couple years now, ever since I first mirrored a game and played it on the big screen using Apple TV.” He added, “It feels like a logical step for Apple, especially with the performance capabilities of their latest and upcoming iOS devices. I imagine Apple will be a pretty big player in living room gaming eventually.”
Going by the Hall’s statement, it looks like Apple has allowed third-party apps on Apple TV for gaming. Apple is focusing on gaming and working on it is a news that has been doing the rounds for a long time now. The experts also believe that the brand is designing a Mac that will be suitable for gaming. This is something to look forward to.
1. Apple TV will be using iPhone 6 A8 chip’s dual-core variant
2. 8GB to 16 GB storage. No 4K video support
4. Remote to have Touch Pad
5. Ports to be the same as old Apple TV’s
Apple TV may not have worked earlier, but that does not mean it will not work in the future as well. With lots of improvements, this new Apple TV looks promising and if things go well, this set top box might turn out to be something we have been looking for. Or shall we say, something that the gamers have been looking for all the time?
