Everyone thought that the Wizarding World has ended when “Harry Potter” featured its last installment on 2011. However, a newly released trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released yesterday and fans are squirming to see it onscreen already!

The two-minute trailer of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” recently released shows the wand-wavering characters of the Wizarding World back to life. However, the storyline will not revolve around Harry Potter anymore; it will revolve around the misadventures of a young wizard by the name of Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne. This said journey happened around 1920 in New York City.

The said trailer shows that Scamander was carrying around with him a suitcase that contained several so-called beasts that allegedly escaped ,according to Porpentina Goldstein in the trailer, played by Katherine Waterson, reported Wired. The said movie was written by none other than J.K. Rowling herself.

According to ABC News, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movie was based from J.K. Rowling’s 2001 book by the same name. It is both a spin-off and a prequel to the author’s successful “Harry Potter” franchise.

The main character Scamander was said to be an author in the Wizarding World whose books were a favorite of Harry Potter while he was attending Hogwarts. In fact, it was revealed that Potter read the book during a class he was attending at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Scamander was a magizoologist who studied various magical creatures during his time and wrote about them in his books.

The trailer shows that while Scamander was voyaging in New York to find more beasts to keep in his suitcase, some of them had escaped. Because of such, the movie’s story will revolve around Scamander hunting those that escaped and avoiding them from exposing the Wizarding World to the No-Majs, a term used for Muggles during Scamander’s time.
