Watch: ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’ First Teaser: Where Is Jack Sparrow?

The Pirates of the Caribbean 5 first teaser has just been dropped and it gave major speculations how the story goes as it hinted a missing Jack Sparrow.


The fifth installment of the Disney’s upcoming sequel entitled “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” was released on “Fear the Walking Dead” season 2 finale on AMC.

At the start of the Pirates of the Caribbean 5 first teaser, famed character Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, is being hunted by authorities.

And though he was not really shown in the first teaser, Jack Sparrow’s presence was felt through his wanted poster, Variety said.

Ghostly villain Captain Salazar, played by Javier Bardem, asked Henry, played by Brenton Thwaites to find the pirate.

“Find Sparrow for me, and relay a message from Captain Salazar: Tell him, death comes straight for him,” Captain Salazar told.

It can be recalled that Johnny Depp injured his hand last year while taping for “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” in a shoot in Australia.

Though Jack Sparrow was not seen in the “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” first teaser, fans know that Johnny Depp is back for the role after last year’s confirmation by producer Jerry Bruckheimer via Twitter.

He then accompanied a photo of Jack Sparrow being tied in the big log.

Fans of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise meanwhile expressed their excitement over Jack Sparrow’s comeback in the big screen.

One replied to the producer’s tweet.

“LOL Please do never let him go again,” he said.

The movie also includes cast member Orlando Bloom, Paul McCartney, and Kaya Scodelario.

“OMG Johnny Depp!!! I’m so excited for the movie!!!” one said.

“Pirates of the Caribbean 5” will be released on May 26, 2017.
