A teaser video on the Call of Duty official YouTube channel started a wildfire yesterday, expecting the game developers to unveil their new title. The fans are already predicting it to be none other than Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
Fortunately, it might be true as Activison recently posted a new video which is also instructing the fans to visit their new CODMessenger page on Facebook. Contacting the team through messenger exposes us to another teasing puzzle. Luckily, the geeks at charlieintel have “cracked” the code and believe we have another announcement on May 2, 9 AM PST 12 Noon Eastern.
In more news, the developer at Infinity Ward just official confirmed that the company will be revealing the Call of Duty title on May 2 at 10:30 AM PST. The announcement is scheduled to be streamed through their official Call of Duty Twitch channel. Adding to that, the studio has also released a behind the scenes video, which features developers talking about their success in the past and their motives and plans for the future.
The heritage video is indeed another teaser for the fans, building up their expectation for the much awaited game. The game developers (Infinity Ward) have been known for producing the popular Modern Warfare series. Rumors suggest the studio is also working on releasing a re-mastered edition of 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
While Activison gears up to release one of the most expected game in 2016, it won’t be the only FPS game in this year’s list. Electronic Art recently confirmed the announcement of their next big title from Battlefield which is scheduled to be unveiled on May 6th.
Electronic Arts and Activison have been major rivals in the gaming industry and have created compiling games from the COD and BF series. We cannot predict the emerging winner until the release of their trailer. Check out infinite Warfare’s previous teaser here.
