A video clip of a man shouting slurs and wielding a gun at another man outside a convenience store in Detroit has gone viral.

The cell phone clip was short, and it shows a man pointing a gun at another man, who he believes is gay, outside a liquor store. The title of the clip is: “I hate gay n-words.

The video begins with a man inside a car. He is talking about the way he hates “gay n-words.” Moments later, he sees a friendly looking young black man in a striped tank top, according to CBS Local.

While the black man approaches the car, the man points a handgun out the window. With the handgun pointed at the victim, the man says, “Take those pants off, bro. What the f–k you on?”

The shocked victim evades, holding onto his lemonade bottle, saying, “I’m not even like that.”

The ordeal took place outside the Brightmoor In and Out Liquor store on Lyndon. After the video went viral, extreme outrage sparked among netizens. The incident is now being investigated by the police. The liquor store where the incident took place is located at Detroit’s west side.

“We are aware of it,” said Detroit Police Sgt. Michael Woody. “It was sent to us and we have opened up an investigation on behalf of the victim, although the victim did not come forward. We are investigating it.”

Woody said it is obviously troubling to know how anyone would “feel comfortable enough” to wield a weapon at someone. It is even more dangerous to post it on social media for everyone to see, said Freep.
