Watch! Drake, Shaquille O’Neal’s Beatbox Performance, Rapper Sits With NBA’s Greats

Drake paved his way not only in sports, having dated Serena Williams and sitting alongside NBA’s greats during the NBA All-Star Weekend, but also inspired Shaquille O’Neal to rap! On top of that, the “Hotline Bling” rapper also earned the heart of Apple as the company plans to invest further on his famous track.

As reported by Billboard, the Grammy-nominated rapper appeared on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” on Valentine’s Day. Although he is not a basketball player, Drake was eventually able to bring out the musical side of NBA superstar, Shaquille O’Neal, also the host of the show.

Drake’s diss track, which was directed at rap rival, Meek Mill, was the star of the show as Shaq himself played a beat box tune for Drake to rap “Back to Back.” In fact, Shaq also commended his co-host, Drizzy, to join in the beat.

After which, Shaq urged Drake to perform his Grammy-nominated song. Who knew Shaq could throw down a decent beat like that? Drake was also seen alongside NBA’s historical greats during the All-Star Weekend. He sat not only with Shaq but also with Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Kenny Anderson, and Ernie Johnson.

In other news, The Verge reports that Drake is not only shooting hoops and inspiring players to rap with him; he was also able to score a touchdown with Apple. In fact, Drake’s most popular song at present, “Hotline Bling,” took Apple’s interest at heart. The company was said to invest further in making an original video of Drake’s song.

By the time the project would be done, Apple would reportedly distribute the video through Apple Music, a marketing strategy the company also implemented for Taylor Swift’s 1989 concert movie.

Drake has taken the media by storm as he flaunts his rapping skills, bringing Shaquille O’Neal’s beatbox talents on “Inside the NBA.” Although the rapper failed to win any of the five awards he was nominated for during the Grammys, at least he got Apple to invest further into his “Hotline Bling.” He shoots, he scores!
