Warriors Vs Hornets: Stephen Curry returned with a bang on Monday night. The reigning MVP scored 30 points (12/21 FG, 5/10 3PT) as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Charlotte Hornets 111-101 at the Oracle Arena.

Klay Thompson, the other splash brother, also scored 30 points as the Warriors improved their record-breaking regular season record to 31-2. Draymond Green (13 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 blocks) registered his third consecutive triple double and seventh overall of the season. Green became only the fourth player in the last 20 years to notch up a hat-trick of triple doubles.

For the Hornets, Kemba Walker led the way with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Jeremy Lamb added another 22 points off the bench. Jeremy Lin had 13 points and 3 rebounds from 31 minutes.

Curry returned to action against the Charlotte Hornets Monday night after aggravating a shin injury during Saturday’s win against the Denver Nuggets.

Meanwhile, Lin earned the starting nod for the Charlotte Hornets due to Nicolas Batum’s toe injury. Batum, arguably Hornets’ best player this season, had been playing through the injury over the previous games, but the discomfort had started to affect his plays.
