Walmart Not Stopping At Black Friday, Starts ‘Cyber Monday’ Early With ‘Samsung Sale’ Preview

This year, Walmart also knows that a lot of shoppers have been anticipating its deals, so it will be doing Cyber Monday a bit early. In other words, online shoppers don’t really have to wait till Monday to take advantage of this year’s Cyber Monday deals. Instead, they can take advantage of the said deals as early as Sunday evening, November 29 at 8 p.m. E.T. For Walmart, doing this increases the retailer’s web traffic significantly.
According to Walmart, Cyber Monday came about since a lot of consumers traditionally waited to get back to work after Black Friday to utilize the high-speed internet connection in the office and continue with their holiday shopping. Nowadays, though, faster internet connections are available at home and on smartphones, allowing customers to stay online longer than before and wait past midnight Sunday. That’s why for Walmart, it only makes sense to make the Cyber Monday deals available early so that customers can enjoying shopping without having to stay up so late.
