However, Vox noted how Britney Spears opted to have her dancing put on a minimal note, but stressed more on writhing on G-Eazy collaborator.

Reports also took note that the audience might have gotten bored over her performance after Beyonce’s stunning “Lemonade” performance that they are busy checking on their Twitter than looking at the pop star’s performance.

The Daily Beast said that Britney Spears’ VMA 2016 performance was too stiff and was obviously “lip-synched” but she has somehow redeemed herself from her 2007 “Gimme More” performance.

Meanwhile, people on Twitter gave various reactions on her performance.

One tweet said, “When you’re excited for the @britneyspears performance but it comes after a @Beyonce slay #VMAs.”
