It was high time for the MTV Video Music Awards (aka VMA) to sizzle the red carpet. With Miley Cyrus hosting the show, it was filled with surprises that blew off everyone from his or her seat. Miley Cyrus then released her next album during the show. The album is now available online.


The Video Music Awards by MTV may not be the most prestigious awards show, which has 16 categories in total, with every category having some big names on it. The show has already finished and VMA 2015 winners are already announced. Fall Out Boy won Best Rock Video for “Uma Thurman” while Nicki Minaj was declared winner of best hip-hop for “Anaconda.” Best Pop is won by Taylor Swift for “Blank Space.”

“Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson won Best Male Video of the show, and Kanye West won Video With A Social Message for “One Man Can Change The World.” Kanye also mentioned that he will be running for the 2020 presidential elections.

The show lineup promised a lot of charisma onstage. Nicki Minaj presented the opening performance of the show. Other performers of the show were Demi Lovato, Twenty One Pilots & A$AP Rocky, The Weekend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Pharrell.

Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Fetty Wap, Hozier, Walk The Moon and more were nominated for awards in several categories. Taylor swift was the one to win three awards for the night.

The overall success of the show could be gauged with the happy faces that went out of the stadium. Miley Cyrus was successful as the host of the show while MTV VMA 2015 winners sizzled with their looks as well as presence onstage.
