It’s the mural that people won’t stop talking about. In Lithuania, one barbecue joint has been making headlines after displaying a massive art work of Russian president Vladimir Putin locking lips with Donald Trump. It even comes with the slogan “make everything great again.”
According to Keulė Rūkė, the dining place that commissioned the mural from artist Mindaugas Bonanu, “We always believed that the small libertarian bbq joint situated on the NATO border with Russia will go viral one day.”
Not that this business needs to do anything to drum up its sales lately. In fact, it seems its food has been on demand. And just last month, this joint announced that they were on a look out for a “serious pork rib supplier in Europe” because they need “several tons” of it every month.
Meanwhile, it’s not just one barbecue joint that has come to realize Trump and Putin’s budding romance. Actually, Hillary Clinton’s camp recently pointed out that the two have been having a “love affair” for quite some time. Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has expressed concern over exactly this. He said, “Well, I have some real issues with things he said about national security policy and some concerns… I worry a little bit about his admiration for Vladimir Putin.”
The Russian president and the American businessman have also expressed admiration for each other in the past. According to a recent story from the Washington Post, Putin has remarked that Trump is “a very colorful person, talented without any doubt.”
To this, the remaining Republican presidential candidate responded that it was “a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond.”
Meanwhile, Keulė Rūkė urges, “Don’t stop kissing.”
