Is Vladimir Putin Immortal, A Mythical Creature, A Time Traveler?
A man from 1920 and another from 1941 oddly look like Russian President Vladimir Putin. Conspiracy theorists think the president might be immortal or a time traveler. After all, he was born in 1952. His father, however, was born in 1911. He was also named Vladimir Putin.Advertisement
A collage of photos was circulating across social media sites. The collage was supposed to prove that Mr. Putin was immortal or a time traveler. One of the photos was of a young man resembling him was taken 100 years ago, in 1920. The second photo, taken in 1941, was a photo of a much older man who also looks like Mr. Putin. The third photo was Mr. Putin at present.
According to Disclose TV, those sharing the collage of photos claim Mr. Putin is almighty and immortal. Supporters of this hypothesis “have launched a story that their president is a mythical creature that resides on our planet for hundreds, if not thousands of years,” the website noted.
Mr. Putin was born on Oct. 7, 1952 in Leningrad, according to his biography. His father, also named Vladimir Putin, was born in 1911 and participated in the war. His father worked as a security guard and later foreman at the carriage works. “My father was born in St Petersburg in 1911. When World War I began, life in St Petersburg became hard, people were starving, so the entire family moved to Pominovo, a village in the Tver Region my grandmother came from,” Mr. Putin said.
Either two of the photos currently circulating in the internet were actually Mr. Putin’s father or there are people who are trolling again. In July, BuzzFeed featured pictures that supposedly prove that Mr. Putin was actually Mona Lisa in disguise. Theories went from either he traveled back in time to pose for Leonardo Da Vinci or Mr. Putin was really Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Florentine noble Francesco del Giocondo.
