People are speculating if Usain Bolt, dubbed as the fastest man on earth, has a girlfriend amidst all his success in sprinting.
The 29-years-old Jamaican athlete, who was recorded as the fastest for 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay, has not been seen lately with a girlfriend especially now that he is on the limelight again for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Reports are speculating that he wanted to hide his relationship with his girlfriend as he knows how the media works on highlighting their romance.
There are also speculations that Usain Bolt’s girlfriend is former Miss Jamaica April Jackson.
In 2013, Usain Bolt had dating rumors with Miss Jamaica and has also confirmed that he is in a relationship for the past two years. However, there are hints that he has decided to keep it low key, Heavy said in a report.
“I’m not going to tell you who she is,” Usain Bolt was quoted saying about his girlfriend. “I want to keep it small for now, because I know when it gets out there’s going to be a lot of things to say, and I told her she can handle it. Because I’ve been through the media. I understand how you guys are– especially the British media.”
Moreover, Usain Bolt also talked about getting married to his girlfriend when before he turns 35.
He related how athlete are being pressures to tie the knot while they are famous but the Olympian believes it will take years for him before he propose.
“I want to get married,” he told in an interview with The Telegraph. “Because my parents are married. I’ve thought about it, but I know I’m not going to get married before 35, for sure.”
He will eventually retire in 2017 World Championships which is a perfect time to propose to his girlfriend.
Miss Jamaica April Jackson and Usain Bolt were rumored to have dated for four months in 2013 after meeting through a common friend. Usain Bolt reportedly had to visits his girlfriend April Jackson in South London while he trains for his competitions, Loop Jamaica said.
The 6-foot-0 beauty queen was born in England. She graduated from Hillel Academy at Champion College. She also worked on The Apprentice and a PR director for a resorts company.
