The world champion athlete wants to apply his athleticism in other sports. Usain Bolt is passionate about soccer and Manchester United, and he wants to represent the Red Devils on the basis of a five-year contract.

Well, United coach Van Gaal is looking for more speed under his wings. Here he gets the fastest man on the planet for trial. In an interview with MUTV, Bolt fondly mentioned the memories of Old Trafford where he was invited. Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson spoke to him and asked him to train with his side.

“In my mind, I think I should do a trial and see if they would say, ‘All right, come on in,’ or if they would say, ‘No, you are not any good.’ I think I would be pretty good because I am fit, I am quick, I can control the ball and I understand all of the plays,” Bolt revealed in the interview.

30-year-old Usain Bolt is hopeful about United offering him a five-year contract once he has performed the trial. The Jamaican sprinter has won triple gold medals in the last two consecutive Olympic games. He won golds in this year’s World Athletic championships.
