Donald Trump was quoted as saying he has made up his mind about running for president. He has set the months of June to July to make his final decision public and said that people will be happy about his forthcoming pronouncement. Political observers are saying he has never been more serious about running than he is now.

Donald Trump will make America great again

On Monday, Trump told his audience in New Hampshire that he has already made up his mind. He was speaking during a business lunch at the Tuscan Kitchen in Salem.

“In my mind, subject to some crazy thing, I have made up my mind. It’s something I very much want to do and I think people are going to be very, very surprised,” Trump said as quoted by the Union Leader.

Trump was singing the same tune during other engagements at the VFW in Hudson, New England College in Henniker and at the Politics & Pie event at the Snowshoe Club in Concord.

“I’ve always said that it’s very hard for a person like me to get elected, and I might not be able to. I might not get the nomination – some stiff is going to get the nomination. If I run and if I win, I will make America great again,” Trump said.

Donald Trump for president

Trump has never been as serious as he is now, political science professor Wayne Lesperance said.

“This is all different. How does he measure up against the other candidates? With 20 people in the race, there is definitely a niche for him to carve out. At some point, though, you’ve got to get past the brand and the celebrity and get into some of the specific issues,” Lesperance told WMUR.

Trump will open an office in Manchester on Friday, according to members of his committee. This is another sign that he is serious about running for president, the committee told WMUR.

Trump is actually giving all indications that he has already made up his mind about running for president.

“You see the kind of response I get. It’s always standing room, and other people come here and 10 people show up,” Trump told WMUR.

“The only negative I ever get is that people say I’m not going to run. I don’t need to do this. I can do other things, but I’m very close to making a decision. It will probably be in June or July, and I think lot of people are going to be very happy.”
