JPMorgan Chase has updated its mortgage interest rates for popular loan products. Rates remain largely unchanged for purchases. The benchmark 30-year fixed rate mortgage is offered at 4.000% today with a 4.093% APR. Chase advertises the shorter-term 15-year fixed mortgage at 3.250% on Thursday with an APR of 3.394%.
For buyers who want to lock into an adjustable rate mortgage for a lower rate and more flexibility, Chase offers the 5/1 LIBOR ARM at 3.000% for the first five years with a 2.924% APR to start. The 7/1 adjustable rate loan is offered with an interest rate of 3.375% locked for the first seven years with a starting APR of 3.107%.
JPMorgan Chase Refinance Interest Rates
Refinance rates have edged higher at Chase. The lender quotes the standard 30-year refinance loan today at 4.125% with an APR of 4.219%. Homeowners can lock into the more popular 15-year fixed refi loan with an interest rate of 3.375% and a corresponding APR of 3.502%.
Chase offers the best interest rates for adjustable rate refinance mortgages. A 5/1 adjustable rate refinance is quoted at 3.125% for the first five years with a 2.958% APR to start. The 7/1 refinance ARM is quoted at 3.375% for the first seven years with a starting APR of 3.138%.
