Just when we thought Naughty Dog was staying low-profile with Uncharted 4 announcements, the studio is releasing its debut expansion dedicated for multiplayer. Fortunately, the Uncharted DLC is packed with exciting add-ons.
The expansion will be available as a downloadable patch update for Uncharted 4 on Wednesday. Although according to the developer’s hype the patch may require more space for its content.
According to GameSpot, Uncharted 4 DLC will be bring new maps, boosters, new guns, skins and taunts. Along with these add-ons, the expansion will have new features like custom matches and loadout names. Lastly, the developers have made a “revamp” to the ranked team deathmatch mode.
It looks like the studio has been listening to PS4 user’s feedback, as Naughty Dog mentioned in their blog that patch 1.08 is what “many [players] have been asking for.” Gamers who bought the Uncharted 4 Triple Pack can luckily expect an extra material on its release as well.
The game’s new features will be showcased during Naughty Dog’s live broadcast on Twitch this Tuesday at 11:30 AM PST / 2:30 PM EST. On Thursday, the studio will be organizing another live stream to unveil its ranked team deathmatch changes. You can take a look at its road map in the twitter feed below.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is an exclusive PlayStation 4 title by Naughty Dog. The game was initially release on May 10 by Sony and went to sell 2.7 million copies on its first week. The video game was one of the best rated titles of the year. Except for few negative reviews, it was well appreciated for its visual appeal and a gripping story line.
