It can be observed that in the past few days, there has been a spate of shootings involving the police, and some might have been thinking about the possible major reason behind it.
Last week, Beyoncé used her official website to call for an action relative to the death of two African-American men, Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, who were allegedly killed by the cops.
This time, Tyson Beckford has finally spoken as well.
In an interview with TMZ, the 45-year-old former Ralph Lauren model shared his thoughts on why policemen appeared to be “trigger happy.”
“We might have to send some cops back to training because this is a generation of the computer games and video games, so I think a lot of cops, when they hold their gun, they’re so trigger happy and want to use it instead of de-escalating the situation,” he theorized.
Considering the antagonism happening these days between the police and African-Americans, Tyson Beckford pointed out that the “they need to learn more of that and less gun and use more Tasers and things of that nature.”
On the other hand, Daily Mail UK reported that on his Instagram account, the model-actor shared a snap of him in his blue Calvin Klein boxers while grabbing his “package.”
Accordingly, such post was aimed at getting back at his PR team who instructed him to stop posting photos of his guns.
“Since my team don’t want me posting pics with gunz,as a concealed weapons licensed owner I give you my .44 Magnum #beard #tysonbeckford #teamtyson,” he captioned his shirtless photo.
The report noted that Tyson Beckford has been constantly seen sharing photos of him with his guns or whenever he is in a firing range.
