One of entertainment industry’s most successful franchises collides in the film “Me Before You” starring Game of Thrones’ Daenerys and The Hunger Games’ Finnick Odair. It seems like Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin are in for romance this time around.

The novel-based movie, “Me Before You,” recently released its official trailer last Wednesday which shows Game of Thrones actress, Emilia Clarke, and The Hunger Games franchise actor, Sam Claflin, showing their softer sides onscreen, reports Variety.

Clarke allegedly plays Louisa “Lou” Clark, a caretaker who is eager to land a job practically anywhere. She meets with the grumpy Will Traynor, played by Claflin, who recently had an accident which resulted to him being paralyzed from the neck down.

At first, the two do not get along smoothly as Traynor mocks the very presence of Clark and also laughs at her ridiculous yet colorful outfits. As time passes, Clark softens Traynor up and shows the wealthy young bachelor how beautiful life is, only to find out that he has opted to pull the plug on his life after six months in a wheelchair.

The romantic movie houses an English cast. Apart from Clarke and Claflin, Charles Dance, Jenna Coleman, Matthew Lewis, Vanessa Kirby, Stephen Peacocke, Brendan Coul and Janet McTeer will also partake in “Me Before You.” The movie was inspired by bestselling novel by Jojo Moyes.

In other news, USA Today interviewed Clarke about her role in which she revealed, “It’s funny with these strong female roles. I’m really quite clumsy, say the wrong thing all the time and am awkward at the best of times.” She added, “My friends and family have seen this other person every single day.”

Witness the softer sides of Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke and The Hunger Games actor Sam Claflin in the romantic/drama film “Me Before You” this June 3, 2016. Daenerys Targaryen and Finnick Odair may not be so tough after all.
