What's This?

A recent theory surfaced about “Toy Story” hinting about its heartbreaking plot for the coming sequel.

Created by Jon Negroni, who revealed The Pixar Theory, the theory is stating that Andy’s red hat might be the same exact hat of Jessie in Toy Story 2.

It can be recalled that Jessie’s owner Emily gave her away when she got older. E! Online said that since Jessie was made in the 1950s, her owner Emily grew up some time between the ’50s and ’60s. It is possible that in the present time, Emily might be a mom already.

“Andy’s mom could be Emily. And by a crazy twist of fate, Jessie ended up with the son of her former owner,” the report surmised, noting that the name of Andy’s mom was never really revealed.

However, Pixar writer Pete Docter shunned this heartbreaking theory, saying that Toy Story director and Pixar Chief Creative Office John Lassiter has his own story behind Andy’s mom. And this theory is far from what they know.

“You know, John Lasseter was the director on that, and we talked for hours about backstory — and we have our own kind of backstory that’s a little different than that,” he told Entertainment Online.

The writer even hinted that “Toy Story 4″ might reveal the backstory of Jessie.

“The interesting thing is that we’re now on Toy Story 4, and still stuff that we discussed in [the original] Toy Story, twenty-something years ago, those ideas are still being used,” he told in an interview. “So it just seems to be a very evergreen kind of story and a lot of stuff just keeps bubbling up, so it’s very interesting.”

Pete Docter is also the writer of “Toy Story,” “Up,” and “Inside Out.”

In a previous report of E! Online, “Toy Story 4″ will not be a continuation of “Toy Story 3.”

Pixar president Jim Morris said it will be romantic comedy and will not highlight the interaction of the “Toy Story” characters and the children.

“I think it will be a very good movie,” he guaranteed.

“Toy Story 4″ will be shown next year on June 16.
