The identity of the gunman has not been released.
Cincinnati Zoo incident: Michelle Gregg’s 911 call released

Michelle Gregg, the mother, can be heard in the recorded call saying, “My son fell into the zoo exhibit at the gorillas. The Cincinnati Zoo, my son fell in with the gorilla. There is a male gorilla standing over him, I need someone to contact the zoo please.”
Indiana man fatally shoots 3 people in four-day spree

Jonathan Cruz from Indiana was charged with felony murder on Wednesday. According to the prosecutors, the victims were chosen at random. Cruz was held on $200,000 pending an initial hearing on Thursday.
