More Zika virus cases in Bay Area were either reported or confirmed on Thursday, according to San Jose Mercury News. This development came a day after it was confirmed by the Napa County public health officials that a pregnant woman had contracted the virus after she traveled to Central America.
Obama to stay in Washington after end of term
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will stay in Washington for a “couple of years” after the term of Obama’s presidency, the New York Times reported. In response to a question asked, Obama said they will stay in Washington until Sasha, his younger daughter, finishes school; she will graduate from the Sidwell Friends School in 2018.

Apple launched the Twitter support account, @AppleSupport, which will allow customers to explain to the team any issues they encounter in, or less than, 140 characters. The twitter account received as many as 100,000 followers and 2,000 tweets the day of its launch, Tech Times reported. “We’re here to provide tips, tricks and helpful information when you need it most, and if you have a question, well – we’re here to help with that too,” Apple Support said.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s autopsy results will be released months after her death, an Atlanta judge ordered, according to 11alive.com. This comes after a motion, filed by WXIA-TV’s parent company TEGNA Media, urges the court to lift the order for sealing “the autopsy report, all related investigative reports, all related toxicology reports, the death certificate and any other documents used and/or created by the Medical Examiner’s Office regarding the autopsy of Bobbi Kristina Brown.”
Flint water crisis: Lawsuit filed against govt officials and corporate entities
LeAnne Walters, a mother who testified about Flint’s water crisis, filed a lawsuit against government officials and corporate entities on Thursday. According to St. Louis Post Dispatch, firms that were hired to assess the water services of the city, Flint’s former public utilities director, a former Michigan Department of Environmental Quality spokesman and the state’s chief medical executive were named in the lawsuit.
