Today, Los Angeles Lakers player and NBA superstar Kobe Bryant is preparing to walk off from the court for good. Throughout his 20-year career, Bryant has been instrumental in securing numerous wins and, more importantly, championships. And as he dribbles towards retirement in spectacular fashion, let’s take a moment to look at ten of the most unforgettable moments in Kobe Bryant’s career.


10. Dribble it in.

While in the middle of a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks during the 1999-2000 season, the Lakers managed to steal the ball from the Knicks. Harper then threw it to Kobe who was being guarded by Sprewell. But this didn’t stop him from dribbling the ball all the way to the basket. In the end, Kobe scored 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

At the 2000 NBA Finals Game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Indiana Pacers, Bryant was on fire, shooting from anywhere and everywhere around court. He fought his way in to shoot the ball inside while not hesitating to deliver spectacular 3-pointers. He ended the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

8. Slam Dunk

There’s no doubt about it. Bryant was feeling the rhythm during a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies back in 2002. During the game, Bryant decided to drive the ball in for a perfect slam dunk. He even scored as much as 56 point in just first three quarters.

7. The Alley-Oop, Featuring Shaq

During Game 7 of the Western Conference finals, the Shaq and Bryant combo proved to be lethal. Together, they would go on to lead the Los Angeles Lakers through three NBA championships.

6. Collecting 62 Points In Just Three Quarters

For Bryant, three quarters can be enough to prove his worth in the NBA. During a game against the Dallas Mavericks, Bryant managed to score 62 points before the fourth quarter. According to the Yard Baker, the Mavs ended the game with 61 points and the Lakers, 95.

During an NBA Finals game against the Boston Celtics, Bryant did a lot a of passes that led to some great shots inside. He ended the game with 38 points.

4. Deadly, Even With A Bad Ankle

During a game against the Phoenix Suns in 2011, Bryant showed he can still play a mean game, even when he had a bad ankle and a shore shoulder. He ended the game with 42 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists.

3. The 360-degree Shot

During a game against Washington Wizards, Bryant goes ahead and does a 360-degree turn before dunking his shot. Yes, he makes complicated look good.

2. 81 Points In A Single Game

Bryant proved he’s a true NBA Star during a game against the Toronto Raptors in 2006 when he went on to score 81 points in a single game. In the end, Lakers won 122 – 104.

1. The 3 Pointer That Beat The Buzzer

Even if he was just a few days from retirement, Bryant showed during a recent game against the Houston Rockets that he wasn’t done shooting his awesome three pointers yet. In fact, he shot one right before the buzzer.
