Early Tuesday morning, Tony Brown, who has worked as a producer since the late 1980’s, was arrested on a domestic assault charge. A spokeswoman of the Nashville Metro Police stated that Brown was kept in official custody by Belle Meade police after 1 a.m.

The controversy started Monday evening at 11:30 p.m. with a disagreement between Brown and his wife, Jamie, who then called 911 after he assaulted her. The couple had an argument over a photoshoot that was slated for Tuesday.

According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the 69-year-old Tony Brown told her wife “that they were slutty poses, and slapped her on the face.”

As stated by News Channel 5, investigators reported that Jamie had several marks on her body and visible signs of her hair being pulled. Jamie was taken by an ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
