What's This?

Valentine’s Day is finally casting off its curtains. If you didn’t have luck finding romance in time for Sunday’s occasion, maybe you will have to start working on it to have someone by your side in 2017. For most people, Tinder dating is the solution to a single person’s most common problem: a love life.

Tinder is a widely known dating app used for meeting new people. This site is under a huge dating company, Match, also responsible for sites like Match.com, Plenty of Fish, and OKCupid. According to BBC, it leads the market with 26 million matches daily worldwide. The company confirms that it is around the love month period where huge traffic and activities are observed in the site.

One of the alleged main factors women are usually single (Valentine’s or not) is because they are stuck with the traditional process of finding love – waiting for a man to do the first step. In the modern times, women are encouraged to step up for themselves and take control of finding the right man suited for them.

In a report by Telegraph, the reason behind women who frequents dating sites like Tinder is mainly because of control. But Tinder wasn’t giving enough, thus co-founder Whitney Wolfe created yet another dating site Bumble.

“People wanted an alternative [to other apps on the market] where women can feel in control and feel equal to men as they’re swiping through. And I think there’s a lot of guys out there that are tired of being perceived as a creep and they want a chance to stand out,” said 26-year-old Wolfe.

Aside from that, other dating sites are keeping up with the trend to cater to the needs of people looking for possible other halves. Find your future love in as simple as logging into an account with your phone and Tinder dating. Who knows, you’ll never have a lonely Valentine’s. Good luck, you love hunter!
