The latest of The Walking Dead season 7 spoilers have suggested that fans are in for a big surprise as its plot has reportedly received an overhaul.
In the final episode of the AMC horror drama television series, one question was left hanging. Who did Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) kill with his barbed wire-covered bat Lucille?
While the show’s loyal followers may already have their own guesses of the possible victim, they may have to experience another mind-boggling game, as a new report teased that his victims are actually more than one.
Is this part of the overhauled lot that several The Walking Dead season 4 spoilers have been talking about?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Andrew Lincoln, who is set to reprise his role as Rick Grimes in the upcoming seventh season, disclosed that “darker” episodes await fans.
“And what kind of society have they built? It’s really, really cool. It feels deeper,” the 43-year-old actor said. “It’s darker.”
He further dished that worse things can happen.
“This is a very, very dark season but it’s always darkest before the dawn,” he quipped.
As The Walking Dead season 7 moves towards a “bigger universe,” the spoilers shared that Negan will be ruling Alexandria.
“And what you will see is a much bigger universe, an expansion. This world is about to get a lot bigger,” he explained. “That’s what’s about to happen in season 7. Obviously, the fallout from the death is going to make different alignments between the people that survive the death and any other communities.”
Meanwhile, Den of Geek reported that “deaths” have actually happened in the hands of Negan at the end of last season.
“Negan’s not just going to kill one person in [the premiere],” the actor behind the widely-hated character said. “He’s not afraid of bashing in skulls.”
The Walking Dead season 7 will premiere on AMC on Oct. 23.
