The Joker and Harley Quinn moments in “Suicide Squad” were the most anticipating factor for fans before its initial release. But the audience were left disappointed when the final cut turned Jared Leto character’s performance into a cameo rather than a trump card for the film.
Since then, it has been revealed that many Joker scenes were edited from the theatrical print. Warner Bros. has not yet revealed if the deleted scenes would be included in Suicide Squad Blu-ray and DVD. But some images and short clips have been giving us a glimpse of these scenes.
Recently, Batman News brought up an image of The Joker and Harley Quinn in confrontation. It has been revealed that the picture is from the deleted scene and was published earlier on August 3rd by Rolling Stone Brazil.
The image is from the scene in the helicopter when Joker arrives to rescue Harley Quinn. It was revealed that both fictional characters get into an argument and The Joker throws Harley out of the chopper.
This scene was later reshot as it has been suggested that Warner Bros. decided not to unveil the abusive relationship of The Joker and Harley Quinn. Check out the image below.
Recently, Amazon.uk leaked the release date for Suicide Squad limited Edition Blu-ray pack. Since then, fans have been aching to know if Warner Bros. would release their pack as an extended version or extras including the deleted scenes.
Even after Suicide Squad’s failure to appeal to the critics, the movie has still succeeded to earn over $600 Million at box office worldwide. In other news, Movie Picture Company recently revealed some behind-the-scenes images of their visual effects for Suicide Squad. Click here to check it out.
