As reported by Star Wars official website, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has to this day earned $760.50 million within 20 days since its official release. In fact, it has the biggest recorded opening day at the domestic box office, earning $119.1 million, $247 million over the same weekend, and has a recorded $30.1 million in sales. Avatar was able to earn a whopping $2.78 billion in sales which earned it the highest-grossing film of all time, according to Hollywood Reporter.
