After Jon Stewart’s emotional farewell episode, Comedy Central has now released the new video of the Daily Show featuring Trevor Noah, sitting on the same chair, but presenting a different view.

Comedy Central uploaded the first promotional video for the new “Daily Show” featuring Trevor Noah.


The 30-second promo, which was uploaded less than two weeks after longtime host Jon Stewart stepped down, shows Noah approaching to the stage to Kanye West’s “Power” playing in the background, as reported by The Huffington Post.

“The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” can be seen on the screen, accompanied by a similarly branded coffee mug.

‘Same seat, different ass’

The video also features the words “Same chair, different ass,” as Noah seats himself, adjusting the seat lower.

According to CBC News, Stewart has booked his ticket for the first Daily Show where he won’t be the host.

Stewart had dedicated the final show on August 6 to the contributors and people associated with the show, including the writers and support staff.

Personalities like Stephen Colbert, Larry Wilmore and John Oliver were also present for the finale.

Stewart will be hosting the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, set to take place on Sunday.

Noah was recently involved in a controversy after being criticized for making jokes targeting women and Jews, according to The Guardian.

The first episode of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will be broadcasted on September 28th.
