‘The Bachelor’ 2017: Why Nick Viall Not Luke Pell? Real Reason Revealed!
Now that it was confirmed that Nick Viall will headline “The Bachelor” 2017, some are left wondering what happened to supposed bachelor Luke Pell? We digged out the real reason for the switch!Advertisement
“Bachelor” host Chris Harrison revealed that ABC opted to pull out Luke Pell from the upcoming season 21 aft
He said that Nick Viall was more deserving to be the next man to find true love as he is a “perennial, second place guy who wants to find love and is as sincere, if not more sincere, than anybody about finding it.”
The host added that Nick Viall, compared to other candidates vying for the role, is the most “sincere” and “deserving” of them all, ET Online said.
It also helped that Nick Viall has been vocally active in campaigning for his application.
Nick Viall’s first shot in Bachelor failed when he was not chosen by Andi Dorfman who gave her final rose to Josh Murray in “The Bachelorette.” In his second try, he failed as Josh Murray advanced on Amanda Stanton in “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Chris Harrison believes “The Bachelor” 2017 is Nick Viall’s time. He then advised him to stay the way he is and be the same sweet and sincere man fans loved about him.
A source from E! News also confirmed that there was a switch in the last minute before the announcement.
“In just the last few days, it totally switched,” the insider told. “Nick’s closest friends and Bachelor in Paradise co-stars didn’t even know until moments before it was announced on After Paradise.”
Early candidates for “The Bachelor” 2017 were Luke Pell, Chase McNary, and Robby Hayes.
“The Bachelor” 2017 will premiere on ABC on January.
