The twelfth season of “The Apprentice” comes back this week to BBC One. The show’s air date is on the 6th of October at 9pm. It will be on BBC One and will be aired on Thursdays for the first time.
The new candidates in “The Apprentice” are under no illusion, and are made aware of the competitive process by Lord Sugar. According to Mirror, he said, “You see 18 people here, and we’re here for 12 weeks – that tells you there are going to be occasions where more than one person is going (to be fired). And I don’t care how many it can be. I really don’t care. I’m very flexible and it is a very, very competitive situation. You can compare this to being on a life support machine and one of your colleagues here pulling the plug out just to charge their mobile phone up. That’s how competitive it will get.’’
The 18 candidates are as follows:
- Aleksandra King, 38
- Alana Spencer, 24
- Dillon St. Paul, 37
- Courtney Wood, 29
- Grainne McCoy, 31
- JD O’Brien, 37
- Frances Bishop, 25
- Jessica Cunningham, 29
- Michelle Niziol, 35
- Mukai Noiri, 36
- Karthik Nagesan, 33
- Natalie Hughes, 30
- Paul Sullivan, 38
- Oliver Nohl-Oser, 33
- Rebecca Jeffery, 31
- Sofiane Khelfa, 32
- Samuel Boateng, 27
- Trishna Thakrar, 28
The new 18 need to be at par with the paces of advisors Claude Littner and Baroness Karren Brady to acquire Lord Sugar’s £250k investment. ANN reports , Lord Sugar promises of a firm competition amongst the candidates in “The Apprentice”. There’s a possibility to fire more than 1 candidate at a time.
While talking about the series come back, Mirror reports that, Lord Sugar said “I need to see who’s got a good business brain, that’s all I’m interested in. The winner gets a £250,000 investment and it will change someone’s life forever.” He even says “You are going to learn more about yourself throughout the course of this process, I promise you that. Sometimes, some people can’t stand the heat, and they complain and they moan. If you want to moan you can send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.”
As Lord Sugar prepares to present the winner with the £250,000 investment, this season of the Apprentice has already shaped up to be a classic.
The Apprentice UK premieres Thursday 6th October on BBC One and BBC One HD.
