Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney proved he can come back nailing a sack of Drew Brees in their match against New Orleans.
The 23-year-old footballer returned with a 14-yard sack for Drew Brees at the second quarter in their match at NRG Stadium, last Saturday after missing the team’s preseason victory in San Francisco.
The Rock Hill native even almost got into the Saints players for the second time for his first preseason NFL action of 2016.
Linebackers coach Mike Vrabel has also acknowledge his help to the team and saw his determination in beating the Saints.
“He had a good week of practice,” he said. “He saw what the Saints did in practice, and he was able to carry that over into the game. That’s a good lesson for him. If we can see him and he gets the practice reps and sees what they’re doing, he can make his instinctive plays.”
