Nickelodeon’s recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows Blu-Ray and DVD version were released by the production studio. While the movie succeeded to appeal to the audience, fans are currently expecting an announcement on TMNT 3.
Paramount and Nickelodeon movies haven’t confirmed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ third film. However, it looks like the cast members of the movie are enthusiastic to reprise their roles in TMNT 3.
Recently, Pete Ploszek, voice of Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows, spoke to Comic Book Movie. The actor spoke about his interest and the studio’s for a third film.
When the actor was questioned about a “potential third film,” he told Comic Book Movie, “Not yet. As far as I’m concerned, there are people a lot higher up the food chain making those decisions, so we’re waiting to hear and I know that we’re all excited to keep doing these and I’m dying to get back in the same room with those four guys.”
Comic Book Movie asked the Teen Wolf actor if he had the opportunity to take souvenirs from set. Ploszek noted, “If we get to do a third one, I’m going to have that at the top of the list.”
In his first TMNT movie, Johnny Knoxville voiced Leonardo. However, Ploszek took over the role in the sequel. Surprisingly, fans weren’t disappointed by his portrayal.
During the interview, Pete revealed that he was able to overcome hurdles while voicing. “As a foursome, we all kinda lean on each other to tell the story, to help each other out, call each other out if something wasn’t working, and we can make something better, cleaner, more fun and so it’s really a collaborative effort in that sense. Getting to do the voice made it all that much sweeter.”
