In the recently-concluded Teen Choice Awards 2016 on Sunday at Inglewood, California, Jason Derulo stood out not because of his performance. His hair apparently, irritated many.


Based on what fans have posted on social media, his hairstyle distracted them from his performance.

On Twitter, one fan even compared the look of this mane to a mop from retail store Target, while another simply pointed that “I dislike Jason Derulo’s hair soooo much.”

Another fan, meanwhile, hinted that Jason Derulo’s hair was not something to be excited about, as someone emphasized that his “hair at the moment actually upsets me. S**t looks like a f***ing plant why does he have to do me like that.”

At the Teen Choice Awards 2016, the 26-year-old singer donned his “do up in an edgy top twist, letting his natural curls do their thing,” as described by Yahoo.

On the show, the singer performed some hit singles from his Platinum Hits album, including “Wiggle,” “Want to Want Me” and “Ridin’ Solo” and his new single called “Kiss the Sky.”

Still a number of his followers have shared their support for him Twitter, especially for coming up with a new single.

One of them even stated that “#KissTheSky will be the only song that I gonna listening to today.”

With Jason Derulo performing it live, another fan tweeted that he “ended the #TeenChoice Awards on a high note performing his funky new single #KissTheSky.”

The singer-dancer released his latest album “Platinum Hits” on Sunday, according to Broadway World.

It features 12 tracks, including the 11 platinum-selling songs which he has released in his seven-year career.

The report continued to disclose that “Kiss the Sky” will be given further exposure when the song from Jason Derulo became part of the Warner Bros. Pictures animated adventure “Storks” set to premiere on Sept. 23.
