On Monday, February 15 in Los Angeles, Shake It Off hitmaker Taylor Swift and New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde took some time off to pose for a photo at the Republic Records Grammy party held at Hyde on Sunset.
According to Just Jared, 26-year-old Swift brought along her squad for the Grammy afterparty including boyfriend Calvin Harris, singer and multi-instrumentalist Ellie Goulding, and Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello.
As Taylor Swift met up with her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, an eyewitness said, “Calvin Harris was so excited for her.”
Then Scottish DJ and singer Snapchatted a picture of Taylor giving him a kiss on the cheek.
While at the party, Swift met with the businessman famous for founding Big Machine Records, Scott Borchetta, as well as Monte Lipman, CEO of Republic Records.
Earlier in the evening at the 2016 Grammys, Taylor Swift was nominated in seven categories and won three awards: Album of the Year (1989), Best Pop Vocal Album (1989) and Best Music Video (“Bad Blood” feat. Kendrick Lamar).
Daily Mail states that Swift’s boyfriend Calvin shared a photo to Twitter which shows Taylor onstage collecting her Album Of The Year, and captioned the tweet, “Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend.”
However, E Online claims that Taylor Swift first hit up Universal Music Group’s 2016 Grammys after-party, which was held inside The Theater at Ace Hotel.
A source stated that, “Everyone lost their minds when they walked in and swarmed the area.” The eyewitness noted that the singer spent time talking to industry executives while her mother and Selena “hung back and danced.” The source also said, “Taylor Swift looked happy and flawless.”
Taylor and her crew were some of the last people to leave the party, as they exited around 2 a.m.
