Tatiana Maslany Fails To Win Emmy Award Despite Convincingly Playing Multiple Characters
Tatiana Maslany has failed to win an Emmy this year. Over the years, fans have been yearning to see the talented actress win the much-coveted trophy, let alone snag a nomination. The 67th Emmy Awards marks the first time Maslany has been nominated for “Orphan Black,” a show where she portrays multiple characters – an insurmountable feat among other nominees.
Maslany’s loss is a bit difficult to question, though, as the honor went to Viola Davis, star of “How to Get Away with Murder” and the first African-American woman to win Best Lead Actress. They were also up against Taraji P. Henson (Empire), Claire Danes (Homeland), Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) and Robin Wright (House of Cards).

The “Orphan Black” star stole the spotlight during one of the segments of the awards show.
In a video shown on the large screen, Maslany was seen using a metal detector to search for junk on the red carpet. It turned out that she was hunting for a can of beans, as per The Verge.
Fellow artists were also excited to meet the versatile actress, with Emmy winner Amy Schumer tweeting a funny picture of what she’d do when meeting Maslany.
