Sylvester Stallone Still Romantic At 69, Says ‘Women Rule’

Sylvester Stallone may appear to be a strong and tough guy, but admittedly, he is one romantic husband to Jennifer Flavin.


At 69 years old, and after almost a decade of marriage with his third wife, the “Rambo” actor revealed that she still gives her wife chocolates twice a week, People reported.

“Thanks for reminding me,” the New York-born star reportedly joked during an interview at “The Ellen DeGeneres” show.

Being surrounded by women at home, he shared that he allows his wife and three daughters – Sistine, Sophia and Scarlet – to speak most of the time.

“I basically just keep my mouth shut and don’t cause waves,” Stallone shared. “Again, she’s fantastic, but it’s all women.”

“Women rule,” he added. “Even the dogs they’re female and the one male’s been neutered.”

When told that should a male neighbor is in need of someone to hang out with, he could be available. “I just sit there, I’d love to hang out with someone, you know what I mean. I just sit there and just watch the leaves fall off the tree of my life.”

Having heard of his words, the host of “Strong,” his newest TV show, volleyball star Gabrielle Reece was quick to quip, “In other words, he’s saying he’s been tenderized.”

In the meantime, Variety reported that Sylvester Stallone partnered with STX Entertainment for a movie.

The “Rocky” actor made the announcement to theater owners who attended the CinemaCon on Tuesday.

“There is a happy medium,” he dished about his upcoming film with the production studio, while reassuring fans that it will surely have “entertainment and commercial value.”

However, amid excitement he showed about the anticipated project, Sylvester Stallone refused to give further details. Still, he praised STX Entertainment and the business plan it utilizes to come up with mid-budget movies.
