Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show: Coldplay’s Chris Martin Reveals Bruce Springsteen’s Advice For Live Performance

“I loved the whole concept of trying to present your entire musical life in 12-and-a-half minutes,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said. “It’s a great challenge…We’ve possibly got 11 good minutes. So we have some special guests and they’ll cover the rest.”
Martin also confirmed that among the guests in Levi’s Stadium, Bruno Mars and Beyonce will be present, according to CNN.
Martin remembers Bruce Springsteen telling him, “‘It’s gotta be muscle memory, You gotta know every note man. Twelve minutes — that ain’t long, but it’s long enough.'” Martin revealed his daughter’s sweet reaction about the show, as reported by Billboard.
“My daughter said the sweetest thing yesterday. ‘How you feeling about the Super Bowl?’ ‘Of course, we’re a little bit nervous.'” Martin recalled. “She said, ‘Dad, the worst that could happen is you’ll get turned into a meme. And after a month or so people will just forget!'”
