WWE SummerSlam happens on Aug. 21 with lots of cards to look out for. The biggest match of the night will be that one between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor who mix it up for the first-ever WWE Universal belt on Raw.
The two former champions will surely be something to watch though there are other equally interesting matches to check out.
Roman Reigns vs. Rusev for the United States Title
Roman Reigns has been sitting on pins and needles as of late and many felt he was being downgraded when he lost to Balor during the WWE Raw episode following WWE Battleground. After being eliminated, there was no telling what the company had for Reigns until he came out to face Rusev.
Reigns came out to try and shut off Rusev for some of his usual tirades, but it was pretty clear that the two were on a collision course. And it all materialized as expected with Rusev defending his title against the Big Dog at WWE SummerSlam 2016.
With Rusev and Lana recently tying the knot, the odds on favorite is Reigns to win the title from him. The newlyweds have yet to go on their honeymoon so this serves as the perfect scenario.
For Reigns, it will also be a good respite, as he tries to re-develop himself after failing to hit it with the fans. It may be the long route but something that could help him improve his stature.

John Cena needs clean loss to AJ Styles
In a non-title match, the rivalry involving John Cena and AJ Styles continues. The match is seen as something to help Styles boost his stock with some outside help likely coming from “The Club” (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows).
Styles has proven to be a tough nut to crack and can win over Cena if the storylines warrant it. Seeing Styles win this one seems likely due to some off-ring commitments by Cena. Cena has been widely speculated of taking some time off once more to focus on “American Grit” season 2.
