The midseason finale of Suits airs Wednesday. For fans of the USA Network there is some good news as well as some bad news in the episode.
Spoilers ahead, read at your own risk.
Harvey (Gabriel Macht) gives another opportunity to Mike (Patrick J Adams) to work at Pearson Specter Litt in episode 10 of “Suits.” However, the offer is not to work as a lawyer, but only as a consultant, TV Guide reports.
Mike, the convicted fake lawyer does not accept the job right away. After serving his jail sentence, what he is going to do is a big question.
It will involve a “longer conversation” Yahoo reports. The question of what Mike is going to do next is not something that will be resolved in a single episode.
“There is some conversation in [the midseason finale] about what might be [his] next steps, but the back six episodes [of Season 6] I’m sure will be about what Mike does and how he fits in,” Adams, 35, said.
“There’s some really good news, and there’s some really bad news,” said Gabriel Macht teasing the finale of Suits Season 6, TV Line reports.
The longest-running legal drama has been renewed for Season 7. The news of Suits Season 7 was announced in August.
Executive producer of the series Aaron Korsh was not sure if Suits was nearing its end, as Mike sent to jail. But, he renewed the deal with Universal Cable Productions for two years for “Suits,” TV Line also reports.
Hence he said that Suits Season 8 will also happen. “I would say we’re not in the upswing of the show’s life cycle. There have been shows that have lasted a long time and much longer than us, twice as long at least. I don’t know how close we are to the end, but I know we’re very likely closer to the end than we are to the beginning,” he said.
