DCEU fans are definitely excited for Suicide Squad. The movie is exactly one month away. While Warner Bros. has already succeeded at promoting Task Force X throughout the U.S. and other regions, it looks like they aren’t done releasing more hi-def promo posters.
Warner Bros. India decided to release a new poster of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn to celebrate their one-month countdown starting today.
Comic Book Movie came across the new promo poster on the official Twitter account of Warner Bros. India. You can find the image in the below.
During the end confrontation of Batman and Lex Luthor in the movie, Batman says, “I arranged for you to get a transfer to Arkham Asylum in Gotham. I still have some friends there. They’re expecting you.” The scene wasn’t shown in the theatrical cut.
A DC fan would have already figured out that Batman’s “friends” are probably the Suicide Squad, locked up in Arkham. Imprisoning Lex with the other Task Force X members without including him in the movie is highly unlikely. Could there be a secret Joker and Lex teamup we aren’t aware of yet?
By far, these are just speculations. But if true, it also confirms that Suicide Squad is set post-Batman v Superman. Moreover, we can also expect to hear news on the Man of Steel.
