The release date for the new DC film “Suicide Squad” is confirmed to be August 5, 2016. The film in question will be given a PG-13 rating, according to Charles Roven, Atlas Entertainment founder.
As far as the “Suicide Squad” cast is concerned, Jared Leto will be seen in the role of Joker. A few days ago, Leto posted an image on Instagram saying, “Great work @gaunted! Was wondering who made it! Amazing. I see a few thought It was me but it wasn’t. Just thought it was clever sweet + fun.” The image had Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger dressed as Jokers.
Leto was also featured in the December issue of Empire Magazine where he talked about the twisted character he plays. While describing his character, Leto said he “encompasses this beautiful man and he shows it in, ‘Hello, how are you?,’ but in an instant, he goes to psychotic behavior where you’re in fear. But you love him because he has both of those genuine sides.”
Leto will appear with Adam Beach who will play the character of Slipknot in the movie. Talking about his new movie, Leto mentioned, “I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn’t imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games.”
The other “Suicide Squad” cast members are Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Will Smith and Viola Davis. They will be playing their parts to fight against red-lipped, green-haired Leto in the movie.
