While some old cast members were only given a limited screen time in the past, their storyline may change with the release of Star Wars: Episode 8, recent spoilers have hinted.


Who could be these characters? How could their longer screen time affect the entire storyline of the eighth installment of J.J. Abram’s project?

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, there were certain well-loved roles that only came out for a couple of scenes. Take for example the case of Jedi Luke Skywalker. Will he finally have more dialogue and scenes in Star Wars: Episode 8?

According to Cinema Blend, from just less than 10 appearances in the previous film, the last remaining Jedi is set to show off more of himself in the upcoming installment of the space opera film.

It can be recalled that it was only in the last part of Star Wars: The Force Awakens that Luke Skywalker was highly-noticeable wherein he first encountered Rey (Daisy Ridley).

With the mystery that engulfed the character of Luke Skywalker in the past film, the entertainment site’s spoilers shared that a big reveal is expected in Star Wars: Episode 8.

It was pointed out that the eighth installment “has some big spaces to fill, and while there aren’t a ton of specifics to be had, there are some theories and bits of information floating around in the canon that might shed some light on his whereabouts.”

In the meantime, I Was Raised To Do One Thing reported that two other characters will also have longer airtime in the new film. Accordingly, C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) and R2-D2 will likewise enjoy more scenes.
