No doubt, EA fans are aching for a multiplayer game. Fortunately, thanks to Star Wars Battlefront Bespin DLC we don’t have to wait until October for Battlefield 1.
The BeSpin expansion will be hitting the digital store for download this Tuesday for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The DLC will contain five new multiplayer maps. But, the eye-catcher goes to the Cloud City, inspired from the Empire Strikes Back. In addition to maps, two well-known characters from Star Wars were added in Battlefront Bespin — smuggler Lando Calrissian and bounty hunter Dengar — as new playable characters.
Star Wars Battlefront Bespin expansion has also added a new vehicle called the Cloud Car, allowing you to explore the Cloud City with the little time you steal from the battlefield before you get shot down. A new gaming mode called Sabotage has also been added. However, we have to be patient until its release to know more about the mode.
Two new blasters have also been included in the DLC. The X8 Night Sniper has been designed with a sniper scope with heat vision on a blaster pistol that has decent cooling and fire power. The EE4 is a short range blaster with a barrel to blow out its ammunition in spread shots to be effective at closer combats. Although it would be a disadvantage at long range, the weapon has a “greater rate of fire.”
Other add-ons to aid in the battlefield are Scout Binoculars, which can be used to recognize an entire unit of enemies, and shock grenades that are capable of bringing down your enemies to their knees. Finally, Disruption allows players to create a “wave that knocks out enemy blasters, turrets and droids.”
As Games Radar pointed out, the new DLC definitely contains new features to improve your gaming experience and enjoy Battlefront better.
