‘Stanger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown: ‘I Felt Sorry For The Character’
The 12-year-old star of the Netflix-hit series, Stranger Things Star Millie Bobby Brown said she felt sorry for her character, Eleven, when she first read the script.
During the press briefing on the last day of the Asia Pop ComiCon Manila 2016, which was held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Philippines, Brown sat down before the local and international press. During the press briefing, Brown shared her insights when she first offered to play the character, Eleven.
Stranger Things Season 2
The hit series ended its season 1, leaving a lot of questions for the audience to speculate for themselves. Pressed to give even just a slightest hint on the possible happenings in the Stranger Things season 2, Brown, instead said she herself isn’t aware of how the next season would go. After all, anything concerning the unreleased season is confidential as of this time.
But the Spain-born actress did share some her insights on how she felt when she first read the script and how does it feel for her to be part of the Netflix original the Stranger Things.
“I don’t relate to her in anyway, because I talk well very much, we’re opposite. But I don’t know why I felt sorry for her when I read the script. For some reasons, I just wanted to be a part of this project. That’s why I have to put my heart because I wanted to show my dedication for the show,” Brown said.

Brown also thanked her co-stars for helping her with the role, especially Winona Ryder, who played the role of Joyce Bryers. Brown said Winona was one of the people inspired and encouraged her whenever she needs any help for her role.
The thrilling series, Stranger Things centers on a story of a Indiana woman’s—Bryce—story when she started a quest to investigate the sudden and unexplained disappearance of her 12-year-old son, Will.
This investigation led to the discovery of mysteries involving secretive government experiments and supernatural forces. Also, through this investigation, Bryce met unusual girl, Eleven.
