Square Enix has announced during the 2016 Tokyo Game Show’s PlayStation Press Conference that “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue” and “Nier: Automata” are all set to release in Japan.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 is set to capture the hearts of RPG fanatics on January 12, 2017. The collection shall include the remasters of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, and Kingdom Hearts Chi: Back Cover, the latter being an HD cinematic experience about the magical Foretellers. Also included in the collection is the brand new episode Birth by Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage.
On the other hand, Square Enix also announced that Nier: Automata will be released on February 23 next year. The game is a third-person action RPG set in the same world of Nier, a cult hit back in 2010. Automata is now set in a futuristic Earth invaded by mechanical bio-machines.
To make gamers more excited, Square Enix also posted new trailers for each game.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 will be available for the PS4, while Nier: Automata will be released both on the PS4 and PC.
