“Captain America: Civil War,” an epic clash of heroes and villains, will include some of our favorite characters. SpiderMan in “Captain America: Civil War” is going to be a character to watch out for.
Robert Downey Jr. mentioned, “We’re now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because of our history in the [canon]. But we’re also looking around like, ‘Who thought that Falcon and Black Panther and Ant-Man and now Spider-Man…?’ I mean it’s like wow, this thing is just crazy.”
While it seems that SpiderMan will be present in “Captain America: Civil War,” Chris Evans begs to differ. He said, “You never know with Marvel,” adding, “Sometimes they shoot things and then don’t use them.”
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was not ready to give out information on the topic about SpiderMan in “Captain America Civil War.” According to him, “There are a lot of amazing actors in this movie. Some of them play larger roles than others. And in some cases there are some you will meet ever so briefly in this film and then will be expanded upon in future films. [Martin Freeman’s character] falls into that latter category.”
“Captain America: Civil War” will be in theaters on May 6, 2016. The movie is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and the screenplay was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.
Viewers will be able to see Chris Evans as Steve Rogers or Captain America. Then there’s also Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark or Iron Man. Scarlett Johansson will be playing the character of Black Widow, Paul Bettany will be seen as The Vision and Jeremy Renner will be Hawkeye. However, being able to see SpiderMan in “Civil War” is still not guaranteed.
