The new Spider-Man played by Tom Holland was first introduced in “Captain America: Civil War.”Although the friendly neighbourhood hero appeared briefly in the movie, his portrayal of the fictional role was convincing for Marvel Studios to go ahead with the production of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” movie.
Earlier on Sunday, Director Jon Watts tweeted to Director Taika Waititi. The post teased and hinted that “Spidey” could appear beside the God of Thunder in the upcoming “Thor: Ragnarok” movie.
The tweet has already gone viral and fans are speculating the crossover to likely take place in “Thor: Ragnarok.” Moreover, both movies have remained low profile as fans still haven’t seen their teaser trailer publicly after its screening at San Diego Comic-con.
If the possibility of Spider-Man appearing in Thor’s sequel is true, it could be possible that the two superheroes could cross paths in the movie. However, it is too early to speculate it any further. Furthermore, as Jon Watts pointed out, the production team “still have a lot to shoot” with “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
The cast of “Thor: Ragnarok” have also been giving fans a glimpse at their fictional role for the movie. By far, fans have got their first look at Karl Urban as Skurge, Details of the sword used by Valkyrie(Played by Tessa Thompson) and more.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” will be releasing on July 7th, 2017. Whereas “Thor: Ragnarok” will be releasing on November 3rd, 2017.
